OSINT Tools -

• Media Bias Fact-Check - This tool produces media bias ratings based on a website’s level and direction of bias, and also identifies questionable and conspiracy sources.

• DomainIQ - provides details about domain ownership, hosting data, and other domains operated by the same owner. It helps track relationships between domains, making it easier to understand who might be behind a particular website.

OSINT Tips -

1. Obtain an Audio Recording of a Court Case (not free) -
   If you are doing in-depth research on a court case you have the option to get an audio recording of the court proceedings. I have consistently found information about a case from court room audio that was available nowhere else.

   This process requires paying a fee and a bit of legwork. Click here to know more.

2. Sites like apollo.io, aihitdata.com, contactout.com, and rocketreach.co are built to help recruiters and sales professionals track down potential candidates and leads. But they also contain a wealth of information on professionals, including employment history and contact details.

3. Platforms such as thatsthem.com, searchpeoplefree.com, and truepeoplesearch.com allow you to enter an email address and discover other contact details like phone numbers, addresses, and even possible familial ties. These connections can provide context on the email owner, revealing links to cohabitants or past residences.

4. In an era of widespread data leaks, breach databases like haveibeenpwned.com, leaklookup.com, and dehashed.com are powerful tools. They can tell you whether an email has been compromised in any known data breaches, and sometimes offer additional data tied to online accounts.

5. To confirm if an email address is active and valid, use services like verifalia.com or zerobounce.net. These platforms also allow you to explore other email addresses that have similar usernames but differ by domain (for instance, the same user might have both a Gmail and Yahoo account).

6. Tools like emailrep.io and synapsint.com can provide a deeper history of an email address, revealing the age of the account, any connections to social media platforms like LinkedIn or X (formerly Twitter), and more.

OSINT Techniques -

1. Where to find the local court databases:
   Google is actually the easiest. Just google the county name and the phrase “court records”.

   • You can also go to the county government website which will have a section for the courts. There will be a subsection for “case information” that tells you how to search court records.

   • Many states have a single database that includes all of the counties’ court records.

   publicrecords.netronline.com – this is a database listing the websites for county governments public records – especially the county appraiser or assessor, which have property records

   If they are in federal prison you can look them up at
   State’s also have their own version, such as Virginia

   BKdata - a private database that holds information on bankruptcy cases.
   Court Listener - search court case information across several hundred jurisdictions throughout the United States.
   PACER - official database for all federal cases.

2. OSINT Tools for Telegram Investigations -
   Telegram Database - A free tool to search for public channels, groups, and bots on Telegram.
   Lyzem - It allows users to find public conversations that mention key phrases or topics of interest, and can also uncover related channels, groups, and users.
   Tlgrm.eu/channels - Enter any name or keyword to find indexed channels on the platform, making it easier to locate relevant groups.
   Tgstat - free search tool to look for Telegram groups and channels by keywords or usernames.
   IntelX.io Telegram Search - free Telegram-specific search tool, providing advanced search capabilities across publicly available data on Telegram.
   archive.org Telegram Archive - This free archive can be used to access historical Telegram data and chat backups.

3. OSINT Tools for investigating on Reddit -

   User Analyzer - This tool provides a breakdown of a Reddit user’s activity, giving insights into their posting patterns and engagement.

   RedditMetis - This tool allows you to see Reddit Statistics of any user including recent activity, comment and submissions summaries, word cloud, and more interesting stats.
   Redective - It provides a way to search for Reddit users and keywords across different subreddits.
   Reveddit - The tool will display removed posts and comments from Reddit, allowing you to see what was hidden.

4. OSINT Tools for doing investigations on Twitter -
   TweetDeck - Monitor multiple timelines on a single screen. Track and organize content, and engage with your communities in real-time.
   Gephi - A social network analysis tool to visualize the interactions—retweets, mentions, replies—between users.
   Botometer X - It helps you detect bot-like behavior by analyzing patterns in account activity for older accounts.

6. U.S. Government Databases for Investigating Companies -
   SEC’s EDGAR database - It is a treasure trove of public filings that can reveal red flags, inconsistencies, and patterns that suggest fraud or financial misconduct.
   Good Jobs First Violation Tracker - A comprehensive database of corporate misconduct, including penalties from multiple federal agencies.
   Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ECHO Database - Environmental violations, penalties, and compliance history for facilities.
   U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Excluded Parties List - Companies and individuals barred from doing business with the federal government due to misconduct.
   Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS) - Lists companies that have won contracts, along with contract values and descriptions.
   OSHA Establishment Search - Workplace safety violations and fines imposed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
   U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) - Identifies patent disputes or trademark violations that may signal litigation or financial risks.
   U.S. Treasury Department’s OFAC Sanctions List - Companies and individuals subject to sanctions for illegal activities.
   U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) - Civil and criminal penalties for corporate misconduct.

7. Resources for International Investigation -
   LEI Search OSINT Tool - Search for Legal Entity Identifiers (LEIs) to identify companies and their ownership structures globally.
   Beneficial Owner Registers - Explore a global map of beneficial ownership registers, offering transparency about company ownership.
   Partial Results for Overseas Investigations and Importing Companies - Database with information on overseas investigations, offshore companies, and financial intelligence reports.
   Import Data Search - Search U.S. import records by company name for customs and shipment data.
   Land Records Guide and Website List - Comprehensive guide to land ownership records worldwide, highlighting key challenges and data sources.
